EC10-EX16 – Elevator Controller
The ZKTeco EC10-EX16 is an advanced elevator access control solution designed to restrict and manage access to different floors using fingerprint and proximity card authentication. The system combines the EC10 main elevator controller with EX16 expansion boards to provide flexible floor button control for multi-floor buildings.
The EC10 supports up to 10 floor control relays directly and can connect up to three EX16 expansion boards through RS485, providing additional relay outputs for larger elevator installations. With real-time access privilege updates, event monitoring, and user-defined floor permissions, the system provides centralized and secure elevator access management.
Key Features
The EC10 provides 10 floor button control relays and can be expanded using up to three EX16 boards, each providing 16 additional relay outputs.
Supports both fingerprint and proximity card slave readers for secure user authentication before allowing access to configured floors.
Supports up to 3,000 fingerprint users and up to 30,000 proximity card credentials.
Administrators can assign specific floor access privileges to individual users according to their authorization requirements.
User access permissions can be uploaded to the controller in real time, helping administrators maintain centralized control.
The system supports real-time monitoring of elevator access events for improved security and centralized management.
Fail Safe Mode provides an additional operational option for maintaining appropriate elevator access behavior during system or power-related conditions.
The EC10 communicates with computers through Ethernet or RS485 and communicates with EX16 expansion boards through RS485.
