The ZKTeco EP20CKQ[SFMH] is an all-weather outdoor multi-technology smart card reader designed for advanced access control and secure credential management. It combines 125 kHz RFID, 13.56 MHz contactless technologies, Bluetooth and QR code scanning in a compact and durable reader.

Designed for demanding access control applications, the EP20CKQ[SFMH] supports a wide range of RFID credential technologies while providing secure communication with access controllers through Wiegand or OSDP v2.2 over RS-485. AES128-secured communication and an EAL6+ certified cryptographic chip help protect sensitive credential data.

The integrated 2.4 GHz Bluetooth interface enables smartphone-based credential authentication. The Bluetooth reading distance can reach up to 10 metres, with the actual distance configurable for each reader and dependent on the installation environment.

QR & Barcode Authentication

The EP20CKQ[SFMH] includes an integrated QR code scanner supporting both one-dimensional and two-dimensional codes. The scanner uses an area image sensor with a 648 × 488 pixel array and supports flexible scanning angles.
